FRANK PETRAMALO, JR., ESQUIRE Mr. Petramalo joined Gordon & Barnett as a partner in 1987. During law school, he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Review. Since entering law practice, Mr. Petramalo has litigated numerous cases in the federal and state courts throughout the nation, at both the trial and appellate levels. From 1969 through 1973, Mr. Petramalo was employed as a trial attorney by the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. In that capacity, he litigated employment discrimination cases on behalf of the Attorney General, for which he twice received awards from the Department for outstanding performance. From 1973 through 1974, Mr. Petramalo was employed as a staff attorney for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. There he represented Defendants in criminal prosecutions in the courts of the District of Columbia. Since entering private practice in 1974, Mr. Petramalo has had extensive counseling and litigation experience in labor relations, employment discrimination, occupational safety and health, employee benefits, civil rights, and products liability litigation. Mr. Petramalo’s litigation practice has included numerous jury and non-jury trials in federal and state courts throughout the country, as well as before federal and state administrative agencies. At the request of the American Bar Association, Mr.
Petramalo has lectured on various labor and employment issues at many
Bar sponsored functions. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at
